Life is just a Fantasy

So the other day I was home surfin the net and got caught up in yet another impulse online purchase. For the past year SUPERGHOST has been thinking about picking up Final Fantasy XI and always asked me to get in on it.

I was always like no way dude not me. Well guess what ? Yeah that’s what I picked up, FF XI. Its was $ 15 on EBgames.com.

RISE OF THE ZILART expansion pack

CHAINS OF PROMATHIA expansion pack

TREASURES OF AHT URHGAN expansion pack

WINGS OF THE GODDESS brand-new expansion pack

Not a bad deal right ? So whether or not I’ll actually play this game is still up in the air. I need partner in crime to play the game with and I think that boat already sailed with SUPERGHOST, but I do have a back up partner in mind. I've always wanted to give an MMO a try and with a 30 day free trial for a game that cost 15 bucks seemed like the way to go.

If anyone has played this or is interested in giving a shot let me know. We could run around together doing whatever it is you do in MMO’s.

Lack of Progress

While I havent had much to ramble about here at Brought to you by TormentX, I still have been posting a bit over at my shared blog Text Adventure with buddies SUPERGHOST and Schuey F1. Little Big Sister ?

I don't normally like to spew out news that you could read anywhere else , but this news is certainly note worthy. The latest April issue of Gameinformer features a 10 page story on everyone's favorite under water city Rapture.

From the looks of the magazines cover the little sisters seem to be all grown up and the Big Daddy’s , well they seem to be gone. That or they went on a hell of a diet . Bioshock 2 looks to return with all of its creepy residents plus some new ones.

Bioshock was hailed as Game of the Year in 2007 by most, so its sequel has a lot to live up to. With a new team in charge of development we can only hope that everything that made the first so great stays intact.

On a sweeter note Take-Two Interactive announced that the game would be released before Halloween of 09 ! So its time to head to your favorite news stand and pick up a copy of the new Gameinformer and find out just who will be waiting for you when you return to Rapture.

Missing out this Friday ....Kind of

There's nothing I love more then a good night out with some friends and spirits. Well This weekend Ill be making my way to Mohegan Sun Hotel and Casino to check out Motley Crue in concert. Sounds great right ! Well it is but .....it comes with a price to pay from my first true love of digital entertainment.

Ill be missing out on the release of Resident Evil 5. Now don't get wrong here I'm not totally bummed out over this alone, but add in the fact that Ill be missing the second to the last episode of the greatest show on TV, Battlestar Galactica and it starts to add up.

So Friday night night Ill be trying to act 20 years old again while banging my head to some "Shout at the Devil", drinking some booze and gambling my loot away. Who am I kidding Its Crue, the shows gonna ROCK !

Dead Space Finished !
Tomber Raider DLC ..Done !
Picked up my sons Copy of Halo Wars.... and played it.
Got my copy of HAWX.
Paid off Resident Evil 5 CE.
Still thiking about Afro Samurai........
