I wont be posting to much the next week or so. My 4 year old son Nicholas broke his leg last night and it was pretty bad so ill be at his bedside in the hospital as much as I can for the next 8 to 10 days that he needs to be there. The break was bad but the recovery will be a good one . Long recovery but yet a good one. I hope to be on Live a few times over the next 2 weeks seeing as ill need to be home for some days of work. So If you can say a little something to whomever it is that you worship for the little guy, that would be great....

     Yeah RE 4.5, that's what some have said about Capcom's latest survival horror game. Then I say we have a lot of .5's out there. Gears 1.5, Halo 2.5 and even GRAW 1.5. Some people working on the media side of the industry just cant except a sequel for what it is and sometimes that's just more of what made the first game great.

     After loading up the RE 5 demo I can see that this game s going to already be great. After watching the latest video that was released on the marketplace I'm already calling Game of the year ! You think its to early for that ? ...maybe, but we'll see. Theres aways Bioshock 1.5 or Halo ODST .5 to contend for GOTY.

     So I played the demo to its end in coop with my buddy Cru and I must say we had a blast. Working together and sharing ammo is a must if your going to stay alive. I think the addition of the online coop is enough to warrant thing game a fulled fledged #5 at the end of it along with some amazing visuals and some retooled gameplay. Now about the R.E. Xbox 360 bundle ??????

 

 

 

     So it went over pretty well. The patch for GoW 2 seemed to fix SOME things for the better. I noticed in my first round of public gameplay that  people were still able to cheat which brought on some frustration. After that I seemed to find some success in Gears last night.

     Now don't get me wrong I still had some "That was bullshit moments !" So one night of post patch gameplay down and I hope that my mild success is a sign of things to come. So far so good, we'll see what happens....

 

 

     Ahhhhh ! The Gears of War 2 patch. Will it help me out much ? Well I'm not sure, but I hope it puts me in a better position to do my part as team player. Any little exploits that were used should be non existent now and maybe give me a tiny edge. Tonight we find out. Gears 2 , will I still blow chunks ? (All signs point towards yes )

 

 

     So today I had a chance to sit down with some Mario Kart for the Wii after picking it up over the weekend. My son and I hoped online together and joined up with Xbox Live Buddy Flyin Hive for some multiplayer racing. Mario Kart for the Wii is a huge improvement of the Game Cubes Double Dash. It get s right back to what Mario kart is all about ....Fun !

     I was surprised how well the wireless connection ran with smooth lag free gameplay. I guess the Wii has one thing in the house I really like now. Mario Kart Rocks !

 

 

     I have an issue with Gears of War...... I suck at it. Now from time to time I will fare pretty well at it and even find myself near the top of the leader board, but 70 % of the time its total aggravation for me. Id like to say oh well its the poor programing (and it is just that) but then everyone would suck. Then I could say well ill do better when the patch comes out, but that wont help out against the people that are already great at it with all it flaws.

     Sad thing is I still keep coming back for more. I tend to find myself doing ok when playing with my regular bunch of friends who happen to be just pretty ok at the game except for a few bad apples that go and ruin it by being Gears Superstars (Cru). It really gets under my skin because I see myself as a gamer that can hold his own when it comes to just about every other type of game I play. I'm not saying a master at them , well I do ROCK at Unreal Tournament a finely tuned Epic game, but like I said I hold my own. I guess I need to put some more work into Gears multi player at night. I must say this though I ill beat you in a chainsaw duel 98 % of the times Vrooom....Vrooooom !
